We do not and will not send spam, or sell or rent your email address to third parties. We do not disclose, sell, share, trade or give away a user’s personal information to third parties, except as needed for completing payment and billing transactions through the services of payment processing vendors, if applicable. We reserve the right to use your personal information to improve some aspects of the Service.
When you register to use the App or certain Services with just your email address, you will also be asked to choose a password. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. You agree not to use the account, username, or password of another user at any time, or to disclose your password to any third party. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or access to your password. You are solely responsible for any and all use of your account.
We may use a third party merchant processor to accept credit cards for any payments and billing to be conducted on or in the Service. Please review the terms and conditions of the third party merchant processor before entering your credit card details. We will not store your credit card information, unless you actively request that it be stored for recurring payment purposes.
By interacting with the Service, our servers automatically collect certain types of technical information, such as your IP address, access times, browser type and mobile device type. We use this information to maintain the quality and operation of the Services only.

You are using the Cartogram Service when you use our mobile application (the “App”) or access services on our web site. If you are using the Service on behalf of a legal entity, you represent to us that you are an authorized representative of that entity and you have the right to bind your company to these Terms.
By using our Service, you (and the entity you represent, if applicable) agree to comply with and accept the following Terms, which together with our Privacy Policy apply to you when you view, access, or otherwise use the Service. You also agree to comply with any applicable local and federal laws, and regulations. We urge you to check these Terms frequently for updates, as they may change. If you do not wish to comply with these Terms, please do not use or access the Service in any way.
These Terms will remain in full force and effect while you use or access the Service. You may terminate your user registration at any time, for any reason, by following user account procedures or by contacting customerteam@cartogr.am. We may terminate your registration at any time, without warning. These Terms will remain in effect after termination.
Cartogram provides its users a way to view indoor maps of a building, venue, retail store, and the like, if relevant maps are available in Google Maps or the owners have created indoor maps in Cartogram. You can use the App to communicate with other users, and help find your way indoors.
Cartogram reserves the sole right to modify or discontinue the Service, including any features, at any time with or without notice to you. Cartogram will not be liable to you or any third party if we exercise that right. Any new features to the Service will also be subject to these Terms.
Given the nature of changing technology, you acknowledge and agree that temporary interruptions of the Service may occur as normal events. You also acknowledge that Cartogram has no control over third party networks that may be accessed in the course of the use of this App, and therefore, delays and disruption of other network transmissions are completely beyond our control.
You agree that the Services are provided “AS IS“ and that Cartogram assumes no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, mis-delivery or failure to store any user communications or personalization settings.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Cartogram grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicenseable, revocable, worldwide, license for personal, non-commercial, use to access the Service. This is a grant of a license, and not a transfer of title or ownership. Users are expressly prohibited from modifying or copying any materials or content on the App or Cartogram website; using the materials or content for any commercial purpose, or for any public display; attempting to decompile or reverse engineer any services provided through the website; removing any proprietary notations from the content on the App or the Cartogram website; or transferring any content or materials to another person or attempting to ‘mirror’ the content or materials on any other server.
This license will automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions. Further Cartogram may terminate your account or use of the Service at any time for any reason and without notice to you. If your account is terminated, Cartogram will delete all account details and files, Cartogram reserves up to 90 days for this to take effect.
To maintain the integrity of the Cartogram Service and to protect you and other users, you agree to not to engage in any of the following activities while using the Service:
All right, title, and interest in and to the App, Cartogram’s website and the Service is and will remain the exclusive property of Cartogram and its licensors. The App, Cartogram’s website and the Service are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries. Except as expressly provided herein, nothing in the Terms gives you a right to use the Cartogram name or any of our trademarks, logos, domain names, and other distinctive brand features. Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you may provide regarding the Service is entirely voluntary and agree that we can use the feedback, comments, and suggestions without any obligation to you.
Cartogram aims to prevent premature loss or deletion of data on the App, we cannot completely anticipate events like server meltdown, unauthorized security disclosure, hardware or equipment failure, or human-error. Any information or content that you save, upload, backup, communicate, or receive can be deleted or “lost” at any time without notice, and without the possibility of recovery. Further, we cannot control the underlying provider and thus we are not responsible for any activity or inactivity that is a result of errors of the third party service provider. ALL INFORMATION, CONTENT, SERVICES, AND MATERIAL AVAILABLE THROUGH THIS APP OR SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” BASIS. THE USE OF THE SERVICE OR THE DOWNLOADING OR OTHER ACQUISITION OF ANY MATERIALS THROUGH THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OR PROPRIETARY RIGHTS. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE TIMELY, SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR DEFECT-FREE. CARTOGRAM DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF ANY INFORMATION OR MATERIAL OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE.
In no event will Cartogram or its suppliers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption,) arising out of the use or inability to the Service, even if a Cartogram authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. The Company’s total liability to you, if any, will be the lesser of $100 or the total fees that you paid Cartogram during the previous three-month period.
The content appearing on the Service could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Cartogram does not warrant that any of the content or other materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. Cartogram may make changes to the content and materials contained in the Service at any time without notice. Cartogram does not, however, make any commitment to update the Service.
